Qantas Commercial
The 'Spirit of Australia' commercial was created in 1999 and was released just before the Sydney 2000 Olympics. It features the Australian Girls Choir singing Peter Allen's 'I Still Call Australia Home' to a backdrop of places around the world.
It's estimated that the choir girls (Australian Girls Choir) undertook 31 flights, stayed in 17 different hotels and in the first three weeks alone spent 67 hours on a plane. The final shot of the commercial featured an additional 200 children and was filmed at Kings Canyon in the Northern Territory.
A sequel was also produced in 2004.
