The ALP It's Time Television commercial from the 1972 Federal election. A classic commercial featuring high profile actors singers and performers of the time.

Elected to Government in 1972 and after just 3 years and with the Labor Party embroiled in controversy from the "Gair Affair" and with the Labor wanting to borrow large sums of money from the Middle East. The Senate moved to Block Supply (access to treasury funds) and on the 11th of November 1975 the Governer General of the time, Sir John Kerr, revoked Whitlam's commission and installed Malcolm Fraser as caretaker Prime Minister with instructions to call an immediate election.
